ISP saying I'm downloading too much, but I'm not?

I've received a letter from my ISP saying that Ive gone over the 40GB download limit, but I'm hardly downloading anything... I dont go on youtube much or play many games. I scanned my computer and no viruses were found so I really don't know whats going on. Just wondering if anyone knows what wrong. thanks :)
